Pink – It’s Not just a Color

Breast Cancer Awareness month – Photo shoot

It’s a mission. It’s a message. It’s you. It’s me. It’s to fight breast cancer together. Back in 2012 in New York City, Sammy and I did a photo shoot for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

As we all know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to honor survivors, remember those we have lost, and raise awareness about early detection and prevention. Regular screenings, self exams, and education save lives. Join the movement, wear pink, and support research for a future without breast cancer.

Sammy (the dog pictured) literally balanced this mask on his face. You can see the strings on the left side of the picture. The strings were not holding the mask up; Sammy was doing that by himself.

This picture became such a big hit that we ended up using it for several Breast Cancer Awareness posts.
