It’s been a long road for BabyLady and me since Puerto Rico. She came into my life in Sept of 2018. Just a few weeks after Patrick was killed. We have been together for 4 1/2 years now. And after all this time, we’re still helping each other.
BabyLady remembers the condition she was in when animal rescuer Anizta Burgos pulled her off the street in August of 2018 in Morovis, Puerto Rico. And I remember the condition that I was in when Patrick was killed on August 19th, 2018. – I died with him that day. And I definitely wanted to die. But, I still had a whole pack that was counting on me. My mother and sister were counting on me. I had no choice but to press on.
Patrick’s death was the cry heard around the world. Anitza Burgos heard that cry and reached out to me asking if I wanted to adopt BabyLady. I told her that I wasn’t sure if that was a good idea. But, I also knew in my head that I wasn’t sure that it was not a good idea. So, I said “Yes.” I will take her into my pack.
The name BabyLady was derived from the late great Patrick Swayze and the character ‘Baby’ from the movie “Dirty Dancing.” You see, I named my Patrick after Patrick Swayze because I always felt bad the way Mr. Swayze died. I did not want to name BabyLady “Patricia” because it was too similar to Patrick.
So, in the spirit of keeping my Patrick front and center while maintaining the Patrick Swayze connection, I decided to bring the name “Baby” into the picture from the movie Dirty Dancing. But, but, BabyLady was not a baby when I rescued her. She was already 6 years old. And that is why I added the “Lady” part to the “Baby” part. That is how the name BabyLady came about. That’s quite a story, right?
BabyLady became the first female dog in my pack. She remains my only female dog till this day. And I can say with complete conviction that “BabyLady is my girl.”
We march on now in the name of Sammy and Patrick. That’s our story for tonight
Well, me and the Daddy Bears are just chilling tonight. As you can see, we have Henry, Lucky, Polar Bear, Grasshopper and Rocky on the bed. Mookie and BabyLady are in the other room. Normally we are all in the same room.
Yeah, sure, it’s a little messy in our little home cave. But this is our life together at night. This is how the pack and I congregate each night before we retire for the evening. This is our favorite part of the day each night. It’s our family time. Our safe space. We sleep together and we rise together as a unit.
We might not be a convention family. But, we are a family nonetheless.
Lucky can always escape outside no matter where we live, or what house we live in. He’s truly an escape artist. But, because we love each other like crazy, after he escapes, he just waits for me right outside the front door. Lucky has serious seperation anxiety with me. Sometimes, I have to talk to him before I leave house and let him know that I will be home soon.
Some beings are so lit up on the inside that they shine on their exterior. Sammy was like that. He would have been 18 years old today. I lost him on January 30th, 2020 right before the Coronavirus hit the world. We had just been running and playing together just the day before on Wednesday January 29th. Then he decided to just never wake up again on Thursday morning and was gone like the wind.
Sammy was the love of my life for 15 years. He was my little Budski. I had plans for him in our new life in Florida. But life had other plans and removed him from the picture. The morning he died was the second worst day of my life. But, worse than that, he lost his life. Only the death of Patrick was worse than Sammy’s death. And that’s only because of the way Patrick was killed.
In Sammy’s honor and all that I learned and experienced from him, I instilled all of that in my current Wolfpack of 7: Henry, Rocky, Lucky, BabyLady, Mookie, Polar Bear and Grasshopper. My whole pack knew Sammy very well other than Grasshopper. But, I tell stories of Sammy to Grasshopper all the time.
Happy 18th birthday Sammy. Not a day goes by where I don’t think about you. I wish that I could reverse that morning on January 30th, 2020. But, that’s just not possible. You shook up the world just like Muhammad Ali. The Wolfpack and I carry on now in your name and Patrick’s.
No lives will go in vain. No pain will go unnoticed. Amen. Scott Smith, Sammy and Patrick’s human dad and General to the greatest Wolfpack in the history of the world.
Lifelong criminal, Philip Capolongo of Fortius Holdings out of New York City was arrested on the morning of February 8th, 2023. He’s been charged with 4 different felonies for a total of 6 felony counts. – (Image of the charges below). The specific charges include “Grand Larceny” and “Scheme to Defraud.” – After 40 plus years of defrauding people with his forged bank letters and selling assets that he does not own (nor that even exist), Capolongo’s “Scheme to Defraud” finally blew up in his face. He is 67 years old and has financially destroyed countless families (including mine) during his 40 plus years of committing financial crimes.
My family and I are the people who initiated the complaint against him with the District Attorney’s Office of Manhattan and alerted much of the banking community in April of 2020. It was this complaint and exposure that dismantled Capolongo’s Scheme to Defraud and eventually lead to his arrest. I want to give a big shoutout to all the other victims who came forth from the articles that I had written and supplied further documentation to the District of Manhattan. Through our collective efforts, the DA’s Office had enough to arrest him and bring felony charges against him. But, it’s not the time to celebrate. Capolongo is out of jail awaiting sentencing. Sadly, there’s a good chance he will not do any prison time.
While people were losing their jobs and dying from the Coronavirus, Philip Capolongo was financially pillaging them into the ground with his forged bank letters and selling of assets that he did Not even own.
In this article I’m going to illustrate exactly how Capolongo defrauds people and businesses. Additionally, I will show what he did to my family and what he did to other victims too. At the bottom of the article are many exhibits in link form showing his Scheme to Defraud in action and some of the victims that he financially pillaged as well. The public should be very aware of him as he’s been defrauding people and businesses since he was 25 years old. If he’s not locked up in prison, there’s no question that he will continue to commit grand larceny and initiate other schemes to defraud. Capolongo is a top to bottom criminal and sociopath.
Please share this article with your communities both near and far. I will leave my contact information at the bottom of this article just in case anyone has a run ins with him. The Article continues below:
Philip Capolongo steals bank letter-head images and then writes himself letters as if it were the bank. The forged bank letters talk about multi-million dollar transactions that are about to commence. Then he markets those letters to entice investors to invest. Fortius Holdings doesn’t actually have any real businesses. All deposits coming into his Chase Bank and other bank accounts are from people he’s defrauding by selling assets that he does Not own and collateralizing loans with transactions and proceeds that don’t even exist.
So, in other words, the deposits in his bank accounts are actually real. That’s true. So, It gives investors/lenders the impression that Fortius Holdings has actual revenues. But, it actually has no revenues because Fortius Holdings does Not have any real businesses. All of those deposits coming into his accounts are through his racketeering operation by selling assets he does not own (nor that even exist), forging bank letters, committing bank and wire fraud. But, Capolongo does not stop there. The scheme to defraud goes much deeper. He then applies for loans against those fraudulent deposits and robs lenders too.
This is the man that defrauded my family with his Chase Bank Statements and forged TD Bank letters (like the one above) in late December of 2019 right before Covid hit. This was this incident that caused my family to fall behind on our mortgage in March of 2020 and inevitably lose our home in March of 2021. – I wish that I could say that was the worst of it. But, that’s where the nightmare got 100 time worse. Since we lost our home, we have been at the mercy of the most egregious rental market in all of the United States right here in South Florida. We still have not stabilized and are at more risk than ever. It is for this reason, and other victims as well, that I will remain tireless with respect to exposing lifelong criminal Philip Capolongo. To date, through my past articles, I have shielded dozens of individuals and companies from being defrauded out of millions of dollars by him. This article is intended to do the same.
I had no idea that Capolongo had been doing this to people since he was 25 years old. He has defrauded people in excess of $50 Million over the last 40 years. Capalongo has $25 Million in judgements against him in the Supreme Court of New York State alone. He defrauds widows, divorcees, doctors, retirees, online college and law students, single mother bartenders, business people and etc.
Make sure to see the Coronavirus TD Bank fraud letter that he forged during the height of the Coronavirus in March of 2020. It is at the bottom of this article in link form. While people were losing their lives and livelihood, Capolongo was financially pillaging them into the ground with his forged TD Bank Letters. He is stage 4 cancer to society. And to be thorough and repeat, all attachments, images and exhibits are in link form at the bottom of this article. The source links are at the bottom of the article too.
Capolongo had been facilitating his racketeering operation through two Chase Bank accounts over the past 14 years. He also forged many different bank letters over those years. But, most recently and notably are the TD Bank Letters that he forged and financially mauled people right through the Coronavirus. The most recent update before he was arrested was that he was forging Bank of America bank letters also involving transactions that don’t exist.
All exhibits and images are in link form just below the image of the felony charges against Philip Capolongo.
My family and I want to give a big shoutout to the Manhattan DA’s Office for sticking with this case right through the Coronavirus and seeing it through. We will see what happens from here.
Theattachments below are in CLICKABLE Link form. Just click on the title and the link will open. And below that are other source links regarding Philip Capolongo’s Scheme to Defraud.
Henry likes to check up on my mother day to day. I actually caught this picture at 11 pm a few weeks ago. He was just making that sure she was doing OK. – Henry is very in tune to my mother.
Like I said years ago, Henry is the Soldier of Love. He is as selfless as they come. When the wolfpack is happy, he is happy. In many ways Henry is like Batman. A silent guardian. A watchful protector
We all march on now in the name of Sammy and Patrick.
A stray dog from Puerto Rico becomes President of the United States. If Lucky can achieve that, we can all achieve anything. I rescued Lucky on May 10th, 2017 off the street in Puerto Rico. He has always been exceptionally smart. But, I never thought for even a second that he would go on to become the President of the United States. I never would have believed that.
The below are the steps Lucky too to achieve greatness:
1. Find your vision 2. The courage to put that vision into action. 3. The consistency to show up and do it tomorrow. 4. The discipline to stick with it. 5. The commitment to see it through.
I rescued Rocky (left) on November 19th, 2015 in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico. I rescue Grasshopper (left) on January 23rd, 2021 in North Miami Beach. He was sitting on the train tracks with traffic going in each direction alongside of him. As soon as I approached him, I hit the breaks and opened the passenger door. I said “Come on buddy. Hop in.” – He looked around for a few seconds and then realized that I was his best option to get off the tracks and out of traffic.
The odds of these two dogs ending up under the same roof together, were basically zero. But, it happened anyway. Love has a way of defying all the odds. Rocky and Grasshopper don’t know each other’s backstory. They just know they feel grateful and safe. And they are the best of frieds.
Sammy died three years ago on January 30th, 2020. He was the love my life. He was my little Budski.
I landed in Florida on March 28th, 2019. This was our first and last drive together in Florida on October 23rd, 2019. Sammy loved our little car rides together. Then, on January 30th, 2020, he just decided never to wake up again. My little Budski was gone like the wind.
Of course I was with him everyday. But, he always loved our car rides together from back in NYC and Puerto Rico. I was so busy in Florida running back and forth between 2 houses, and working full time that I let the quality time slip through our hands.
It never feels like we have the time. But, that always changes when we lose a loved one. Then we realize we DID have the time. The rides we took together were just 15 minutes or so, but they made his world. Everyone has 15 minutes to spare.
I lost Sammy just a few weeks before Covid turned the world upside down. In his honor I’ve converted all of the coronavirus downtime into quality time with my wolfpack.
I had plans for Sammy, the wolfpack and myself in our new life in Florida. Unfortunately, life had other plans for him. The wolfpack and I march on now in the name of Sammy and Patrick.
The definition of Insanity is repeating the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
The definition of STUPIDITY, is knowing it’s insane, and doing it anyway. That’s where the United States is right now with respect to guns. Zip Code: STUPIDITY.
Two mass shootings over 2 days in California leaving 18 people dead. Lives taken and families forever destroyed. A common tale in American life now. Below is a description of the two shootings. And below that are solutions that we can put in place right now to eradicate this mass shooting epidemic plaguing civilian life. Lastly, I will close with the importance of educating people about guns and how they should Not be revered. They should be frowned upon.
11 people were killed on Saturday night between a dance studio and ballroom in Monterey, California. It was the Lunar New Year. The shooter, 72 year old man, Huu Can Tran, used a semi-automatic pistol with an extended large-capacity magazine. Tran killed himself 12 hours later as police approached him on Sunday morning.
Two days later on Monday, 65 year old Chunil Zhao, killed 7 people between 2 different locations in San Mateo County. Zhao was arrested and charged with 7 counts of murder. A semi-automatic handgun was found in his car.
Even if there were no bad guys, no mentally ill people and no terrorists, there are still way too many guns in circulaiton.
The Problem – Simple Math
1. Too many guns in circulation 2. Too easy access to guns 3. Weapons of war in Civilian Society
The Solution:
The Second Amendment needs to be repealed and replaced. I don’t care what the founding fathers said or meant in 1791. It has No practical application here in 2023. The evidence is in, and it is clear. We have a mass shooting epidemic.
We need to look at the gun industry the way we do with Motor Vehicles and cars. You want to be able to use a gun, get a license. You want to own a gun, get it registered. You want to operate a gun, then get some required gun insurance. Just like we do with cars. The age limit also needs to be raised to 25 years old. 18 to 21 years of age is too young. They’re still in college for Christ sake.
Let’s look at Japan for example: They have a population of 127 million people and yet they rarely see over 10 gun deaths in a year. The US has twice the population of Japan. So technically, the US should only have 20 gun deaths a year. But no. The US has over 30,000 gun deaths a year. Below is how Japan does it:
“If people want to own a gun, they must attend an all-day class, pass a written test, and achieve at least 95% accuracy during a shooting-range test. Then they have to pass a mental-health evaluation, which takes place at a hospital, and pass a background check, in which the government digs into their criminal record and interviews friends and family. They can only buy shotguns and air rifles — no handguns — and every three years they must retake the class and initial exam.”
Look at Canada, in October of 2022, they banned the sales of all handguns to reduce gun violence in their country. New Zealand instituted a mandatory semi-automatic buyback program in march of 2019 after two consecutive mass shootings on 2 different mosques. New Zealand took the que from Australia who instituted a mandatory buyback of all guns they banned and made illegal in 1996. The net result for Australia was that murders and suicides plummeted. In case anyone is confused, that’s good when murders and suicides plummet.
Furthering The Solution:
1. NO ordinary citizen should be allowed to own any firearms other than a regular handgun that shoots 6 bullets, one at a time. No clips. No magazines. 2. We need to ban ALL assault weapons and any other weapons that can facilitate high capacity magazines. 3. The US needs to initiate a mandatory buyback program for weapons that have been banned, just like Australia and New Zealand did. We have to get those guns out of circulation. 4. Require all gun owners to carry gun insurance. 5. Allow the gun manufacturers to be sued.
EDUCATION:
A “Right” is just an idea. It’s invisible. The Second Amendment is just a bunch of words that were formulated hundreds of years ago that have no practical application in 2023. But, what is very visible, is the physical and tangible mass shooting epidemic plaguing civilian life in the United States.
We need teach people that guns are bad news. Just like we learned as kids to Not play with matches. Guns are bad news. They are Not something to be revered. They should be frowned upon. All of us can teach and preach that message the same way we did years ago with respect to matches.
Does this sound extreme? – It’s not. It’s common sense. You know what’s extreme? Non-stop mass shootings.
