My mother is Italian, very tough, and a survivor. Here is the Covid report:
About six weeks ago, my sister, mother, and I got Covid again, just like we all did back in 2022. As you remember, my sister and I bounced back pretty quickly. My mother, on the other hand, was in the emergency room on five different occasions and then was referred to a rehab nursing facility for 120 days back then. It was a long road before she finally got back home in 2022.
Now, in 2025, when she got Covid again, it took two different trips to the emergency room before she was referred to another rehab nursing facility. Jo Ann just got home today after seven weeks.
Covid literally kicked her ass two times over the last three years. But she fought back and won the war again. Jo Ann Smith 2, Covid 0.
I am very tough like my mother. And I do believe in revenge like she does, at least when it comes to serious matters. Not trivial stuff. Other than that, we have nothing in common, lol.
