My mom is 81 years old today. This picture is from 2012, back in New York City when Sammy was first coming up in the world. He was already 7 years old in this picture.
As many of you know, my mother got COVID in June of 2022.. She’s never been the same. She hardly gets out of bed anymore. My dogs have been very healing for my mother. There is always one or two of my pack lying down next to her. She pets them a lot. They have been really good for my mom, and she has been really good for them.
I think this pictrure is magical. It was a magical time in a magical city with a magical dog. By the way, did I say “magical” enough in that last sentence?
The thing I love the most about my mother, is that she’s knows I love my dogs more than her, and she’s totally cool with that.
How cool is that?
